Powerhouse of Cosmic Energy And How To Survive

Holy Retrogrades!

Brace yourself- by the time you finish reading this post I am hoping you will have a better understanding of the s**t-show you may have been experiencing on an internal or external level, or both!  If you have not  been experiencing anything out of the “norm” than YAY- good for you!  You must not be that conscious.  (Just kidding, kind of ) :)

Recently, I have taken a very heavy interest in learning much more as far as astrology is concerned, and I am so thankful that I have.

Today, I feel the need to talk about the planetary influences we have got going on .  There is a LOT of energy at work here, and forewarned is forearmed!  I am not suggesting that you base your life decisions on astrology ( although I often do, and am glad that I have, it truly is foolproof).

full-moon-eye

First let’s talk about the Full Moon In Scorpio tomorrow, 4/22.

This moon is all about intensity! Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, which is the planet of transformation.  Pluto also rules the 8th House in astrology which is the house of sex, death & rebirth.  That which has been hidden will more than likely come to the surface under this Moon.

This Full Moon in Scorpio is bringing light to all the shadow dynamics that lie underneath the surface- the very things that we have been avoiding dealing with are likely to come to light right now.  Under this Moon, the focus will be on relationships, commitments and contractual agreements with others- as well as agreements we have made with ourselves for our own growth and evolution.  Remember: Pluto is all about transformation and this simply cannot occur without death of the old self/ways.

Bottomline:  expect  shake up /break up , breakdown/breakthrough energy to play out in all relationships, financial situations, value systems and more!

Add to this fact that Mercury goes retrograde on the 28th Of April, as this Full Moon is in Scorpio!

mercury

As if Mercury Retro is not bad enough by itself!!  I have written about Mercury plenty before so will keep this one short and sweet.  Mercury rules communication of all types. There is no need to put your life on hold during the retrograde period, but also, there is no need to rush anything either. Signing contracts of any type during this time should truly be handled with kid gloves.  Now more than ever, if something can go askew, it will!

Mercury will go direct again on May 22nd, so it might be best to watch your words and actions over the next three weeks.  Computers go haywire, communication goes haywire. You may feel “jumbled”.  This is why.  Take it easy and hold off on making unnecessary big decisions during the retrograde period,  is the best that I can say.

Now let’s look at Jupiter- the planet of luck, personal growth and expansion. Jupiter went retrograde back on January 7th and will go direct again on May 9th. What does this mean?  When Jupiter is Retrograde, expansion or growth in your life stops abruptly. All sorts of external energies or “crutches”  are sapped away from you that you need to look into your internal self for survival. You need to put in much energy and commitment than normally warranted for your projects. When Jupiter is retrograde certain things that have been clinging onto you would be removed and you need to continue your journey without that, but ultimately it would be for your general well-being only.   Not always fun but this is where our major growth will occur.

mars

Mars- the planet of aggression, passion and action (it is red after all) has also gone retrograde as of April 18th and will stay there until June 30th.  This is not the time to really begin anything new, but rather a time to sit back and assess.  Energy tends to be depleted during this time so you may find yourself much more tired than usual. Depending on your natal chart and which sign Mars falls,  some will hardly feel this affect and some will definitely be aware of this energy.  Vitality can be zapped during this time, and that’s perfectly ok. Mars is about action and it is backwards at this time- so guess what ? It’s time for inaction.

Saturn- our planet of Karma.  Fun Fun Fun!

Saturn went retrograde as of March 25th and will not go direct until August 13th!  That’s quite awhile.  Saturn retrograde is a double dose of karma.   Karma is a form of energy that is very real.  Like Saturn, it is very closely bound to time. Past, present, and future blur into one. If you have been bad in the past, then at a certain predestined time, an event will occur to teach you a lesson. If you been good in the past, then at a predestined time, an event will occur to reward you for your good deeds. With Saturn in retrograde motion, the karma will relate to how responsible you have been in the past.  Saturn retrograde can bring us some harsh lessons that may seem scary particularly in the financial and relationship sectors of our lives, but these are necessary lessons that will serve a bigger purpose.

I have saved the best for last here….

Pluto, oh Pluto- remember we spoke of Pluto above?  Well, Pluto went retrograde on 4/18 and will station direct on September 26th.  This retrograde should be a positive experience overall.  Pluto just wants to kill what’s not working , and give birth to the new way that we so desperately need and crave.  It’s all about soul evolution.  This is a time to expose any buried and unresolved issues that are holding you back. Many of these repressed feelings will relate to your love life or finances. Transiting Pluto retrograde is a time of reflection about power and control in your life. If people have been controlling or manipulating you then now is the time to let them go. If you have been too controlling of others or situations then it is time to let go. This is not a time for power tripping but a time for elimination. Fated events and repeating themes will reinforce which of your controlling habits, compulsions, addictions or prejudices must be eliminated.

The bottom line for this year :

karma

Resolving karmic issues can result in a massive transformation and evolution of your soul

Soulmates

This term gets thrown around way too often.

I work with many people, and I will often hear the question: “Is he/she my Soulmate”?   I really don’t like answering that question and I will tell you why. Caution: about to ramble on about Soul Connections!

We all have MANY soulmates in this lifetime!  And guess what?  90% of them are not romantic.  Soulmates come in the form of lovers yes, but also, parents, siblings, friends, co workers and even pets!  Throughout your lifetime and if you are conscious and recognize it, you will come across many soulmates along your journey.  Some will come in temporarily, some permanently.  But always with soulmates comes life lessons & soul growth IF you are ready.

soul

I will give you an example: I feel that my Sister & I are Soulmates.  We are very similar on a lot of levels but also very different.  There are things about her that I admire and qualities I wish I myself possessed, and I am sure she would say the same about me.  At least I think she would :) By being with her and talking, yes, we sometimes get heated but in reality, we force each other out of our comfort zones a little bit. Does that always feel good? UM, NO!  But does it promote our individual growth and take our relationship to a higher place?  I think so.

What about those so called “strangers” that have become life long friends?  Those are also soul mates.  I went 30 something years without a core group of girlfriends.  Sure, I’ve always had friends, but not really a group.  Back in 2014 seven of us were randomly thrown together, all different ages and from all different places in our lives, and yet we all still communicate via group chat almost daily.  We always say we are soul mates because no matter what happens, we maintain our connection and we always pick up right where we left off.  We all end up going through similar situations and help each other grow.

The stranger you meet while pumping gas on a particularly BAD day that makes a comment that sticks to your ribs,  forcing  you to go home and begin to change your life? That’s a soul connection.  You may never see that person again, but you will always remember them for the words that catapulted you into a life change. That was no accident!  The Universe at that exact moment,  sent that person to help you move along on your journey.

Before we incarnate here again, we make pacts with other individuals.  These people are a part of our “soul family”.  Some will come in as long term relationships.  Some as parents, some as friends. They will likely come to us at the exact time we need them to learn our lessons.

A lot of times, we meet these people and we feel a “jolt” or a “spark”.  It can feel electrifying and out of worldly, often times confusing.  As we talk to this person, we begin to feel an odd familiarity.  An affinity- you get each other.  Now, how you move forward with this connection would depend on your recognition and beliefs of such things.  You may choose to explore it or ignore it.  This is where the soul growth comes into play.  Are you ready for growth & change OR are you happy where you are right at this very moment? Your Soul will guide you.

And for those that have asked, here is how to tell if someone is your soul mate

Our Card For The Week Ahead- 4/10-4/17

Happy Sunday!

For this weeks card I have used my Spirit Guide Deck.  I use this every time I read for someone, by meditating before I connect with them and giving them their most important message from spirit, for their highest good.

For this week ahead the message is:IMG_6033New Beginnings

This is Super fitting, particularly because we are now under the influence of the New Supermoon In Aries, which is literally about New Beginnings.  Fascinating how the energies always line up.

This week will be all about those thoughts and feelings that have been holding us back coming to the surface.  You may notice an overall feeling of anxiety overtaking you at this time, the jitters.  Feeling like it’s time to act but not necessarily being comfortable with what this feeling might provoke.  Endings are imminent during this time, and as with all endings, there comes new beginnings.  Force or flow is the name of the game here.

Often times while we are propelled forward, we can truly feel like we are going backwards. Uncertain and afraid of whats to come.  But this is all our fear.

This week ahead, go ahead and drop the fear and follow the call of your soul towards movement.  Likely, these are things that you may have previously wished for, and the energies will finally align to give you that which you seek…but- are you ready to take the chances you need to take?  Make the changes that need to be made that you have been avoiding?  This week there will be a strong need to reevaluate our lives and how far we have come, where we are headed, and where we wish to be.

Under the influence of the Aries Moon, it’s time for New Beginnings.

New Moon In Aries Thursday 4/7! Glimpse The Life You Were Destined To Live

Tomorrow we have a New Moon in the sign of Aries.  Aries is all about getting it done.

When our world is filled with internal/external clutter  it can be hard to live out our purpose, to do those things we know we should be doing.  This New Moon brings us a new cycle, a new 28 day cycle of hope & possibility.  It’s time to pull back the curtain and let our desires take center stage and come to fruition.

There are many things that we have thought about and wished would happen.  Well, under the aggressive and often times, abrasive Aries moon, we are being called upon to put our plans into motion once and for all.  As Aries can also be impulsive, it’s important to try and keep a controlled hand to these changes we may wish to implement.

aries211

That promotion you know should be yours? Go and grab it.  That man/woman you can’t seem to get off your mind? Reach out.  The friend you miss and have been thinking of contacting?  Do it!  The Aries New Moon is here to remind us that now is the time to act. New Moon energy is always the time to plant the seeds and wait for the harvest .  By the time the the next New Moon rolls around on 5/7,  we should see progress.

The New Moon April 7, 2016 represents a transition from one type of change to another, from chaotic and unexpected change to planned and structured change. Either way, we have change and change is good!  Saturn Retrograde 2016 suggests that this transitioning change should be taken slowly and cautiously in the beginning, especially in relation to love and money. But even so, we are being nudged by the universe to make these much needed, and wanted, changes.

I often say that we were put on this earth to grow & change, and stagnancy is NOT what our souls , our higher selves, want for us no matter how hard it may seem sometimes.  So use the energy of the New Moon wisely and start making some changes!  You will be glad you did.

Are you ready to make some changes and need some guidance, insight or assistance?

And something a little extra- here  are your NEW MOON HOROSCOPES:

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

This lunation in your fiery sign is bound to charge you up and get you moving physically and mentally. You may, however, be so ready to make changes in your life that you recklessly plunge ahead without considering the consequences. Being bold and innovative is awesome, as long as there’s enough common sense to keep you from running through red lights or starting fights.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Self-motivation is the gift of this firecracker of a New Moon. It lands in your secretive and spiritual 12th House of Privacy, suggesting that you’re not about to let anyone push or bully you. But it’s vital that you take the power in this event and use it for your own good. Cleaning up old business and clearing mental and physical clutter will provide you with a fresh canvas on which to express your creativity.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Sparks fly in group situations with the incendiary New Moon in your team-oriented 11th House of Friends. Battles with friends, colleagues or organizations may distract you from your goals. It’s fine, though, to start fires that are meant to motivate people or to initiate projects where you require others’ support. Just slow down to explain your plan in order to overcome resistance to your innovative ideas.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Frustration can bubble over in your professional life if you’re stuck with a boring job, a lack of prospects or you are tired of waiting for the go-ahead on a work-related plan. It’s time to push a little harder to bring something new into this important part of your life. Starting your own business or taking a leadership position that challenges you can reignite passion in your career.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)

Thoughts of faraway places might be spurred by this initiating New Moon in your 9th House of Travel and Higher Mind. Educational, religious and political pursuits are also sources of excitement that can inspire your mind and warm your heart. Your strong opinions can influence the thinking of others, as long as you back up your opinions with facts and express yourself with quiet confidence.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)

Personal and professional relationships are likely to heat up with this fiery Aries New Moon in your 8th House of Deep Sharing. Boredom can trigger conflict within a current alliance or provoke you to take bolder action if you’re single and looking. This is your chance for a fresh start by being more direct about your needs and more experimental in responding to the desires of others.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)

This incendiary Aries New Moon lands in your 7th House of Partners to add more spice to your relationship life. Aggressive individuals may prod you to go faster or further than you’d like. Yet a healthier expression of this transit is for you to take the initiative with others. Whether you’re pushing a professional project or coming on stronger in pursuit of love, it’s better to lead than to follow now.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

The aggressive Aries New Moon lands in your 6th House of Employment, Health and Daily Routines, where it is likely to increase the pace of your activities, whether pushed by others or by your own impulses. Learning new skills for work, developing a hobby and taking a more active approach to diet and exercise are positive ways to ride this exhilarating wave of fresh possibilities.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

Creative and amorous impulses are prodded into action with this dynamic Aries New Moon in your 5th House of Romance and Self-expression. Your energetic personality can soar to greater heights as you dramatically show your feelings and present original ideas. Fresh forms of play and a growing willingness to take risks generates excitement along with a little dose of danger.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

This stimulating New Moon lands in your domestic 4th House of Family and Home to stir up energy on the home front. Conflict within the family and problems with housing are undesirable expressions of this provocative transit. But it’s extremely helpful when you’re trying to break ground on a new project or seeking a different living situation. Your urge for change should not be denied.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

Your powerful mind gets a shot of adrenalin with this explosive New Moon in your 3rd House of Information. Conversations grow heated, which can trigger conflict or awaken people to innovative ideas. Your patience can be tested by slow thinkers, yet it’s better to avoid antagonizing anyone. Studying a new subject or becoming a more effective communicator both are potential benefits now.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)

Taking a fresh approach to self-worth issues and finances makes sense with this energetic New Moon landing in your 2nd House of Resources. You may have to take a risk on a new job if you want to change the nature of your economic game. Pushing yourself physically and mentally is worthwhile if you’re excited about the rewards you can earn for this extra effort.
